Climate change is already affecting the most vulnerable countries, populations and ecosystems. And international cooperation, across all sectors, is required to accelerate the reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions.

On 22 April 2016, 175 Member States, including New Zealand, signed the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The agreement aims to accelerate and intensify the actions and investments needed for a sustainable, low-carbon future.

By 2020, the organisations involved in the Platform for Action on Climate and Emissions (PACE) want to see other businesses and organisations working on individual and collective actions, which will help achieve New Zealand reach its Paris Agreement target.

Each organisation involved in PACE is implementing its own decarbonisation pathway and getting ideas and support from different the Climate Action Groups. Read more here.
